I offered a few thoughts to the media while waving "goodbye" to commuters along the Glenn Highway in Peters Creek, an hour before I turned myself in to the U.S. Marshal's in Anchorage on June 30, 2008.

It was an ugly reality as unfair as it was to be incarcerated, thanks to cheating prosecutors and a judge with a huge chip on his shoulder.
